Honolulu police are investigating a homicide in Waikīkī after an adult man was found unresponsive Monday evening in the busy tourist district, authorities said.
Officers responded to the Waikīkī area at about 5:22 p.m., and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives say the probe remains active as they search for witnesses and evidence.
District 6 patrol officers opened the murder investigation following the discovery, according to Honolulu Police.
