Two adults were taken to a hospital after a late Sunday night stabbing in Cincinnati’s Westwood neighborhood, police said, turning a quiet stretch near Gobel Avenue into an active crime scene.
What police say
Officers with the Cincinnati Police Department responded to the area near the 3000 block of Gobel Avenue and found two adults suffering from stab wounds, according to FOX19. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital, and police did not immediately release their conditions. Investigators have also not released any suspect description as they continue to look into the attack.
Westwood in focus
The stabbing comes amid a recent string of violent incidents in Westwood. Cincinnati Police Department neighborhood crime reports show multiple assaults and property offenses in the area in recent weeks. The Cincinnati Police Department data list several Part 1 violent offenses in February.
