A pre-dawn shooting in unincorporated north St. Louis County left one person dead early Tuesday after officers were called to Congress Avenue, according to police.
St. Louis County police say officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Congress Avenue around 2:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found a victim who did not survive. Detectives at the scene launched a homicide investigation and began working the case in the dark, speaking with anyone who might have seen or heard something.
