A fast-growing drive-thru coffee chain is locking in a high-visibility corner in Glen Burnie, with plans to drop a 7 Brew stand at Marley Station Road and Ritchie Highway, directly across from Marley Station Mall. Brokers say the development arm of a local franchisee pieced together multiple parcels for the project and is aiming for a late 2026 opening, bringing Arkansas-based 7 Brew’s drive-through-only format to Anne Arundel County.
According to Rosso Commercial Real Estate Services, the firm represented the sellers and coordinated the parcel assembly. Broker Glenn Ulick of Lee & Associates represented the franchisee’s development arm in the purchase.
Site and timeline
Local reporting says the shop is slated for the busy Ritchie Highway and Marley Station Road intersection, across from the mall, and is tentatively scheduled to open at the end of 2026, according to WBAL. The same report points to public documents that reference two additional potential Anne Arundel County sites in Pasadena and Gambrills.
Neighbors and traffic
The chain’s first Maryland location in Abingdon opened in late December and quickly generated long drive-thru lines and backups that prompted Harford County officials to require changes to traffic flow, according to CBS Baltimore. That experience is a reminder that planners and neighbors along busy Ritchie Highway will likely take a hard look at queuing, access, and any proposed mitigation when final site plans surface.
What 7 Brew brings
7 Brew describes itself as a high-volume, drive-thru-first operator, and the company reports hundreds of stands nationwide on its site, per 7 Brew. Local coverage notes that the concept operates without indoor seating and relies on double drive-thru lanes to move cars through quickly, a setup that can strain nearby intersections at peak times, as reported by WMAR2 News.
Rosso’s announcement says more updates will be shared as the project progresses, according to Rosso Commercial Real Estate Services. County planning records and community meetings should reveal the details of any traffic mitigation, based on local filings reported by Real Pasadena.
