One man with a brick and a bad idea is wanted after a late-night burglary streak that hit four Covina restaurants in a single night on April 22, according to police. The break-ins struck Mauricio's Mexican Food, Sam's Peruvian Restaurant, The Spot Teriyaki and Burger, and El Patito Panaderia, with shattered glass and missing cash left behind. Investigators say the suspect smashed through front glass doors and grabbed money from registers and tills before taking off.

According to CBS Los Angeles, Covina police believe the same man is behind all four April 22 break-ins. Investigators told the outlet the suspect forced his way into each business by smashing glass, then removed cash from tills at every location before fleeing.
Detectives Seek Tips
Detectives are now trying to put a name to the face. CBS Los Angeles reports that "Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Cardoza." Police are asking residents who spotted anything suspicious that night, or who have security camera footage from around the targeted businesses, to reach out so investigators can track the suspect down.
