According to Perth Amboy police, the robbery happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday at a Madison Avenue jewelry store. Several people went inside, grabbed jewelry and took off in a vehicle, kicking off a pursuit that continued beyond city limits. Officers were unable to stop the car and reported no arrests.
