For Greater Cincinnati travelers eyeing a European escape, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is quietly turning into a much bigger deal. Delta Air Lines has ramped up its nonstop service between CVG and Paris, shifting to daily departures through the summer after adding flights last Saturday. That means Tri-State travelers can head to the airport after work and wake up in Paris without an overnight connection. British Airways has also beefed up its schedule out of CVG, giving the region more direct access to Europe for both business and leisure trips.
Delta boosts Paris service
According to Local 12, which republishes reporting from the Cincinnati Business Courier, Delta is operating its CVG–Paris (CDG) flight every day through the summer, with the expanded schedule kicking in last Saturday. Flight history for DL98 on Flightradar24 shows multiple departures since the change, backing up the airline’s decision to add seats. For much of the year, the route generally drops back to about three weekly departures, the report notes.
British Airways ups London capacity
Across the Atlantic in the other direction, British Airways has increased its CVG–London Heathrow schedule to six weekly departures and is swapping the route to a Boeing 777-200. The airport says that shift represents roughly a 55–60 percent capacity increase. In a statement included in the airport release, British Airways’ Neil Chernoff said, “we've been delighted by the strong demand from customers across the region.” CVG Airport also points out that the larger aircraft will bring more cargo capacity for regional shippers.

The extra transatlantic seats are not just about selfies in front of the Eiffel Tower. More nonstop flights help multinational employers, exporters, and freight customers across the Cincinnati region. Visit Cincy notes that CVG is home to Amazon Air’s U.S. hub and DHL’s global superhub, and the airport handled about 9.2 million travelers in 2024, which helps explain why carriers are expanding service.
