What started as a string of car break-ins across metro Atlanta ended Wednesday with a police chase and two 20-year-olds in handcuffs, according to DeKalb County authorities.
Officers arrested Corey Biggs and Malachi Campbell after a pursuit, accusing them of targeting vehicles along Church Street and Sheridan Road in DeKalb County. Several victims told investigators the pair pointed a gun and threatened to shoot during some of the encounters, and both suspects now face multiple charges, 95.5 WSB reports. Police say the investigation is still very much active.
Police urge tips as investigation continues
DeKalb County officials are asking anyone who might have information about the break-ins, or who thinks they may be a victim, to reach out to investigators through the department’s anonymous tip system or the police website.
Residents can text the keyword DKPD to 847411 (tip411) or submit anonymous web tips through the DeKalb County Police Department site, where detectives review submissions for follow-up.
