
Two men were wounded Thursday afternoon in a double shooting on the 3600 block of Machado Street in Tampa, and witnesses say three people bolted from the scene before possibly climbing into a vehicle. Officers arrived around 1:40 p.m., gave first aid on the sidewalk, and Tampa Fire Rescue took both men to nearby hospitals for treatment.
According to WFLA, Tampa Police found the two men suffering from gunshot wounds when they got to Machado Street and stayed on scene to help the victims. Witnesses told officers the suspects ran from the area and may have gotten into a vehicle, prompting the department to urge anyone with information to speak up.

Suspect Description
Authorities described the suspects as Black males with twists in their hair, and one of them was estimated at about 5-foot-6 and 130 pounds, according to WFLA. Police are asking anyone who saw what happened - especially people who may have video or dash-camera footage - to contact detectives.

No arrests had been reported as of Thursday evening, and detectives say the investigation is still underway.
