A late-night collision on U.S. Highway 71 in Bertha Township, Todd County, has left at least one person dead, after a Toyota Camry and a Chevy Silverado slammed into each other at the Palomino Road intersection just before 11 p.m. on Thursday.
According to WJON, the Minnesota State Patrol says the Silverado was driven by a 26-year-old man from Hewitt, while the Camry was driven by a 20-year-old man, also from Hewitt. WJON reports that at least one person was killed in the crash, and the State Patrol told the station it plans to release the drivers’ names and additional details on Saturday night.
