Officials: occupant pronounced dead at the scene
According to the San José Fire Department, which retweeted the San José Police Department’s public information account, units responded to and began investigating a multi-vehicle collision at Lucretia Ave and Story Rd, where one occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officials said the crash occurred at about 11:56 a.m. and noted that road closures around the intersection would remain in place for several hours while investigators worked. The San José Police Department added that a formal press release would follow.
