An afternoon in East Flatbush turned violent earlier this month when a 19-year-old man was beaten and robbed inside a neighborhood building, leaving him with facial injuries and without his backpack. Police say the group attack happened in broad daylight, and the victim did not seek hospital treatment after the assault.
According to News 12 New York, the incident took place around 2:30 p.m. inside 3008 Avenue D, where four people approached the 19-year-old, punched him multiple times in the face and stole his North Face book bag. The outlet reports that the victim is identified only by age and that no additional details about the suspects have been released. Detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
