Yesterday's shooting in Oakland’s Millsmont neighborhood left one person dead and two others fighting for their lives, turning a residential block into an active crime scene just after sundown.
City officials said emergency crews were called to the 4800 block of 64th Avenue around 8:20 PM, where they found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Units from the Oakland Fire Department responded and located three victims. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were rushed to a hospital in critical condition, according to KTVU. The Oakland Police Department is investigating and, as of Saturday night, had not released any information about possible suspects or a motive, per the same report.
