
A 38-year-old Newnan man was shot multiple times on Octavia Place on Tuesday and later died at a nearby hospital, according to the Newnan Police Department. Officers say they found the victim in the neighborhood with several gunshot wounds before he was rushed for treatment, where he was pronounced dead.

Newnan officers responded to reports of a shooting on Octavia Place on Tuesday and found the victim, identified by authorities as Hunter Ross Williams, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to 11Alive. Williams was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died, the outlet reported.
Police have not released any suspect information. Investigators are asking anyone who might have seen or heard something, or who has relevant video footage, to contact Lt. Chris Robinson at 770-254-2355.
