Police confirm multiple victims
Joliet police confirmed that three people were shot and taken to a local hospital, according to ABC7 Chicago. Officers mounted a significant response at the Larkin Village complex, but as of late Thursday night had not released any information about the victims’ conditions or provided descriptions of possible suspects.

Where it happened
The shooting unfolded at the Larkin Village complex at 947 Lois Place, a multi-building apartment property in Joliet, according to the Larkin Village website. The property has appeared in the legal record before: a 2009 fatal shooting at the complex later surfaced in state appellate filings, according to the state court record.
