A deadly burst of gunfire turned a Hickory Hill apartment complex into a crime scene Tuesday night, as a man was found shot to death in the 6100 block of Ridgewyck Drive, Memphis police said. Officers responding to a shooting call pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Witnesses told investigators the shooters ran from the area, and police say three suspects, all dressed in black, were last seen heading east on Knight Arnold Road. The victim’s identity and a possible motive have not been released.

According to FOX13 Memphis, investigators remained on scene Tuesday night, collecting shell casings and other evidence while canvassing the complex for anyone who saw or heard the shooting. Officers told the station the three suspects were all dressed in black clothing, and detectives are continuing to chase leads as they work to track down those involved.
