Gwinnett County jail records list Harris on charges of speeding, failing to wear a seat belt, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. He was stopped Sunday morning, booked into the Gwinnett County jail, and later released after posting bond, the outlet reports. A future court date for the case has not yet been listed.

FOX 5 Atlanta, citing TMZ, reports that officers said Harris was driving about 60 mph in a 45-mph zone and that a firearm was visible inside the vehicle. According to the report, he initially refused officers’ orders to get out of the car.
Afterward, Harris took his side of the story to Instagram, appearing in a Pikachu onesie and leaning into the cartoon theme. In the video, he compared police to “Team Rocket” and wrote that officers “catch me wit a master ball,” according to the station.
Past Run-ins With Police
This is not Harris’ first encounter with law enforcement. In October 2024, he was arrested in Dunwoody after nearly cutting in front of a police cruiser, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. That stop revealed a Pickens County bench warrant connected to traffic and DUI-related charges from 2022, the newspaper noted.
