Memphis police are working a death investigation in Whitehaven after a woman was found dead Thursday along East Holmes Road. Officers were called to the 1600 block of the street, where the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
According to FOX13 Memphis, the Memphis Police Department responded to the scene and confirmed the woman was deceased. The department has not released the victim's name or a cause of death, and detectives say the investigation is still active.
