
A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times while walking into a building early Wednesday on Chicago’s Northwest Side, leaving him in serious condition, according to police. The shooting unfolded around 1 a.m. in the 5100 block of West Montana Street, where paramedics treated him before rushing him to Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
The Chicago Police Department’s account, reported by FOX 32 Chicago, says the victim suffered gunshot wounds “throughout his body.” No arrests had been announced as of the latest update, and Area Five detectives are leading the investigation. Police said they have not released suspect information or a possible motive.
