Registration opened Wednesday for the 2026 Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race, the 57th running of what organizers still proudly call the world’s largest 10K. About 60,000 spots are up for grabs for the July 4 run from Lenox Square to a Piedmont Park finish, all under this year’s theme, “Peachtree Unites,” and with a fresh title sponsor helping fuel the annual scramble for bib numbers.
Registration window and fees
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, registration opened Wednesday and stays live through April 21. Atlanta Track Club members are guaranteed entry, while nonmembers are tossed into a lottery for the remaining spots. The AJC reports that members pay $60 to lock in their place, and nonmembers selected in the lottery pay $80. The paper also notes that voting for the official 2026 finisher T-shirt is open through April 10, with ballots cast exclusively on the AJC News app.
How the lottery and membership work

New title partner and the theme
Northside Hospital has stepped in as the race’s title partner, a move organizers say will lean harder into health and community-focused programming, according to a Northside press release. Calling this year “a once-in-a-lifetime milestone” as Atlanta gears up for America’s 250th birthday, Atlanta Track Club CEO and Peachtree race director Rich Kenah told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that “moments like this don't come around often.” The Northside announcement also confirms the 57th running will again start at Lenox Square and wrap up in Piedmont Park on Saturday, July 4.
Junior race, expo and logistics
The kid-focused Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior is back on July 3 with free registration, a timed mile for runners ages 6–14, and a 50-meter dash for younger children, according to Atlanta Track Club event pages. The Junior event takes over Lenox Square with finisher shirts and medals for participants, and online registration is set to close July 1 unless capacity is reached earlier at the expo. Organizers also point families and runners to the Peachtree Health & Fitness Expo, and they are already warning of the usual road closures and transit tweaks.
