Atlanta’s skyline playground just leveled up for spring. Ponce City Market’s rooftop has a freshly rebuilt 18-hole mini-golf course at Skyline Park, the seasonal SK8 roller rink is rolling back in with an evening laser show, and new ticket options and weekday happy-hour deals are designed to turn the Roof into a repeat stop for families, date nights and anyone chasing sunset views.
Skyline Park Gets A Course Upgrade
The Roof at Ponce City Market has opened a remade 18-hole mini-golf layout on top of Skyline Park, replacing earlier versions of the rooftop putt-putt course. The refreshed setup joins returning boardwalk-style games, rides and a nightly laser light show set to music, which are included with admission. According to details on The Roof’s spring and summer lineup, skating and miniature golf are both part of the warm-weather programming.
Designer And Ownership
Jamestown, the development firm that owns Ponce City Market, is still steering the overall property and its rooftop attractions. To overhaul the mini-golf experience, the company tapped golf-course architect Bobby Cupp, who introduced new contours and added challenges to the compact rooftop layout, per Urbanize Atlanta.
Tickets, Pricing And ‘Tee Time’ Deals
“Not every visit looks the same,” Mandy Slater said, explaining a shift to more flexible ticketing that lets guests mix and match rides, games and mini golf. Under the new “choose your experience” approach, general admission and attractions are sold separately so visitors can tailor a low-key family outing or a more grown-up night out. The Roof is offering general admission at $15 for adults and $7 for kids 12 and under, with mini golf priced at $12 for adults and $7 for kids. There is also a weekday “Tee Time” happy hour, Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., that features half-price mini golf and $3 Lucky One Lemonade or Tea, per Urbanize Atlanta.
More Than Golf: Food And Skyline Views
The rooftop setup pairs games and skating with a full slate of dining and bar options so visitors can follow a round of mini golf or a SK8 session with dinner or drinks against the skyline. Spots include 9 Mile Station, 12 Cocktail Bar and RFD Social, according to details on its food and drink lineup. The site also recommends checking ticket availability and event listings in advance since seasonal activations and timed ticket drops are common.
With the revamped mini-golf course and the returning roller rink, Skyline Park is being positioned as a neighborhood magnet again. Expect kid-friendly afternoons, golden-hour views and nightly lights as the Roof settles into its spring and summer season.
