MEDIC Response
WSOC reported that MEDIC crews were called to the 6900 block of Albemarle Road around 5 a.m., finding two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both patients were taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. WSOC noted that this incident was one of three separate shootings that injured four people across Charlotte early Saturday morning.
