What started as an ordinary Thursday night stop at a Bridgeton QuikTrip ended in deadly violence, as one person was killed in a shooting outside the convenience store, according to police.
Officers were called to the store around 7:21 p.m. and found the victim already dead when they arrived, First Alert 4 reports. Investigators say the people involved knew each other and stress that there is no ongoing threat to the public. Police have detained a person of interest in connection with the shooting.
