An 18-year-old man was beaten and robbed near the corner of Eighth Avenue and 66th Street in Dyker Heights around 9:51 p.m., a violent group attack that left him hospitalized but expected to recover, according to police.
As reported by PIX11, the NYPD says roughly 15 teenage boys surrounded the victim, punched him and displayed knives before taking his jacket. Police told the outlet that no arrests have been made, and detectives are reviewing surveillance footage in an effort to identify the suspects. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
