Atlanta police are hunting for a suspect after a string of overnight car break-ins at a senior living community, an incident that left several vehicles damaged and residents on edge, according to authorities. Officers were called to the complex after reports that multiple vehicles had been broken into in the community’s parking lot, FOX 5 Atlanta reported. The station shared short video footage of the scene as investigators canvassed the area, speaking with residents and searching for any clues.
A pattern across the city
The senior community was not the first Atlanta neighborhood to wake up to shattered glass. In April, a predawn wave of break-ins in Kirkwood left about 20 cars hit, prompting investigators there to pull surveillance footage and look for patterns in how the thieves operated.
