As reported by West Orange Times & Observer, the Marcondeses partnered with SEO Basilico because of the brand's artisanal mindset and its commitment to small producers and ingredients sourced from Italy. The paper notes the pair previously owned two franchises in Brazil for more than 17 years, an experience they are now channeling into a smaller sit-down concept here. Alongside the pies, guests can expect sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and desserts such as tiramisu and sweet pizzas.

Florida records show Seo Basilico Farina E Lavoro Brand LLC was filed in March 2025 with Leandro Marcondes listed as an authorized member, per BizProfile. The Marcondeses say they hope to open more locations over the coming years while keeping each restaurant anchored in its own neighborhood.
