Intrust IT is putting down roots just south of Nashville. The Cincinnati-based, employee-owned managed-service provider has opened a new Brentwood office, giving the firm a second regional base after its integration into Nashville-based 3LS and a leadership change earlier this year. For Middle Tennessee businesses, that translates into faster access to Intrust’s cybersecurity, cloud, and AI services from offices on both sides of the Ohio River.
According to a press release from 3LS, the Brentwood outpost is located in the Maryland Farms neighborhood and is currently staffed with two technicians and a business development manager while Intrust builds its Middle Tennessee client list. The company says the space comes in at about 1,500 square feet, with more hiring planned as demand ramps up.
An Employee-Owned Growth Story
The Nashville-area move follows 3LS’s acquisition of Intrust late last year, a deal announced via Business Wire. Intrust says it became 100% employee-owned in 2025 and credits that ownership model as a core driver of how it serves clients.
Sister Companies Are Circling Cincinnati
Intrust’s arrival in the 3LS Professional Services group also brings marketing agency 5by5 and ESOP adviser 40 Million Owners under the same umbrella, giving those sister firms a clearer path into the Cincinnati market, as reported by the Cincinnati Business Courier. 3LS and Intrust recently spotlighted a Cincinnati professional-services open house on LinkedIn as they introduced the expanded services lineup to local partners and clients.
Intrust CEO Ricky Phipps, who stepped into the role on Jan. 20, 2026, praised the expansion and said, “We are thrilled to announce the opening of our first office in Nashville,” in the company’s announcement, according to Intrust. The firm says the Nashville presence will help coordinate cybersecurity and AI projects across the region while maintaining the employee-owned culture it points to for high client satisfaction, a focus Intrust highlights.
