Duckie's Woodfire, a new bagel-and-beer concept, quietly opened in downtown Oklahoma City in January and is already drawing morning lines. The Sunshine District storefront works as an overnight bakery, daytime café and evening taproom, so customers can get bagels with house-made beer in one stop, all in a space built for a neighborhood vibe with outdoor seating and family-friendly programming.
Bagels By Morning, Taproom By Night
Listing its address as 310 N. Klein Ave, Duckie's says it opens at 8 a.m., with daily hours running roughly 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. According to Duckie's, the menu includes bagels, bialys, bagel pizzas, wings and a range of schmears.
Owner Vision And Overnight Baking
Owners including Elizabeth Maxwell say they opened Duckie's to fill what they called a local "bagel desert," and the concept leans heavily on overnight production to keep morning inventory fresh. As reported by News 9, staff begin baking after the restaurant's 9 p.m. close and produce hundreds of bagels each night for the morning rush, with sandwiches such as the Loxsmith and the Firequacker getting special attention.
Beer Brewed Next Door
All of Duckie's taps pour Wells Beer recipes brewed just beside the café, giving the spot a true bagels-and-beer identity. The Wells Beer site lists 314 N. Klein Ave as its brewery location and promotes a lineup of easy-drinking lagers and a rotating selection of hoppy options available at Duckie's taps.
Menu, Events And Community
Duckie's daytime menu leans toward classic toppings and schmears, while the evening lineup expands into pizza, wings and cocktails to draw a later crowd. Local event calendars, including a recent listing on Unation, show the venue hosting free, family-friendly concerts and neighborhood meetups on its outdoor stage.
What This Means For Downtown
The arrival of an all-day bagel operation with its own taproom fills a niche owners say has been missing in Oklahoma City and gives the Sunshine District another reason to visit. The project sits under the Lucky Goose Hospitality umbrella that also operates The Goose sandwich shop, a cluster approach that pairs Duckie's with in-house beer from Wells Beer and the group’s other neighborhood concepts.
Duckie's is open daily and offers catering, bagel boxes and lox platters for events and offices. For hours, menus and booking, see Duckie's.
