Gunfire tore through an East Arlington apartment parking lot last night, leaving a 17-year-old in the hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
The shooting unfolded in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Nandina Drive. Arlington police said the teen was rushed to a local hospital and that detectives are still working to piece together exactly what led up to the violence.
Arlington police told WFAA that investigators believe the teen and the shooter "were engaging in high‑risk activity" before shots were fired. No one else was reported injured at the scene.
