Police are investigating a deadly stabbing in north St. Louis after a woman was fatally wounded late Saturday on East Lexington Avenue, authorities said. Officers were called to the 3900 block of East Lexington on the night of May 23, where they found a woman who was later pronounced dead. Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are handling the case.
According to KSDK, the department shared on social media that officers responded to the scene Saturday night. Officials have not publicly identified the victim and have not released a suspect description or any information about what may have led up to the stabbing.
