A Wednesday night shooting in South Memphis left one man fighting for his life after gunfire erupted along the 1000 block of Latham Street, according to police.

Memphis Police officers were called to the 1000 block of Latham Street around 7:23 p.m., where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Investigators say they do not have any suspect information to release at this time, according to FOX13 Memphis.
