A man was killed when his motorcycle crashed late Monday night on Columbus' East Side. The collision happened around 10:30 p.m. on Stelzer Road just north of East 7th Avenue, police said.
According to The Columbus Dispatch, which cited a Columbus police news release, the rider was traveling south on Stelzer Road on a 1981 Harley-Davidson when the crash occurred. The Columbus Division of Police's Accident Investigation Unit responded to the scene and is handling the inquiry. Police have not released the rider's name, the news release said.
