An armed robbery at a Lilburn vape shop played out on surveillance video Friday, and by that evening police had an 18-year-old in custody. The short clip made the rounds on local television and helped detectives move quickly on the case.
According to WSB-TV, the video shows a person walking into the store and carrying out the armed robbery. Police told the station they were able to identify and arrest an 18-year-old in connection with the incident, and detectives said the investigation remains active as they chase leads from the footage.

The Lilburn holdup is part of a broader run of thefts and break-ins at vape and smoke shops around the area. In March, a Floyd County shop was robbed by a suspect in a full-body ghillie suit, Fox 5 Atlanta reported, while other outlets have covered late-night smash-and-grab hits targeting independent retailers.
