
Knoxville police are looking for two people they say were involved in a brutal assault that left a 24-year-old man seriously hurt in the Jackson Avenue parking lot at 210 E. Jackson Avenue. Detectives say the case is still very much open and active.
According to WBIR, Knoxville Police Department officers found the injured man in the lot and described his wounds as serious. The department says detectives are working to identify two people connected to the attack and are continuing to follow up on leads.

The Jackson Avenue lot at 210 E. Jackson Ave sits behind downtown venues near the Old City and is often used for event and game-day parking. It is a municipal surface lot the city has referenced in downtown planning materials, according to the City of Knoxville.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
KPD says detectives are actively pursuing leads and are urging anyone who witnessed the assault or who may have video from the area to contact investigators. As noted by WBIR, officers are canvassing the area as part of the ongoing investigation.
