California Highway Patrol officers were called to the eastbound 60 at the Paramount Boulevard exit at 2:33 a.m. Saturday, according to MyNewsLA. When officers arrived, they found one victim lying in the middle lanes and another trapped inside a black sedan that had hit a freeway wall. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters from the Montebello Fire Department worked to free the second victim from the sedan and transported that person to a hospital in unknown condition, MyNewsLA reports.
