
Memphis police are working to piece together what happened in a pre-dawn shooting in Hickory Hill on Saturday that left a man fighting for his life. Officers were called around 3:31 a.m. to the area near the intersection of Hickory Hill Road and Winchester Road, and witnesses told investigators the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle. Authorities said the victim remained in critical condition.
The Memphis Police Department confirmed the 3:31 a.m. response and the victim’s condition, as reported by Action News 5. Investigators have not released any suspect description, and an apparent motive is still unknown.
