As reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Nevada Highway Patrol said the female driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to a local area hospital with injuries. Authorities did not immediately release the names of those involved, and investigators remained on site Sunday evening as they worked to determine what led to the crash.
