Marketed as a cozy spot for pre- or post-dinner hangs and intimate celebrations, the lounge leans into its name: a nod to an astronomical nova, the kind of sudden flare the space is clearly trying to channel with its dramatic, skyline-forward design.
Fresh photos from a media preview last Wednesday show off the room and a first look at what is hitting the menu. The images, shot by Bryan Terry, highlight bartender Johnathan Bolden at work behind the bar and a handful of the opening dishes, including Tombo tuna mosaic, sliders, 1,000-layer potatoes and a Basque cheesecake. Cocktails arrive with atmospheric names like Cloud Cover, Parallax, Crimson Sky and Garden Theory, all captured in a gallery from The Oklahoman.

Vast describes Nova Lounge as an intimate room for “gathering and unwinding,” pairing signature cocktails with elevated light bites and noting the concept as a May 2026 opening. The lounge sits alongside Vast's upper-floor dining rooms on the 49th and 50th floors of Devon Tower, framed as a special-occasion perch with the city spread out below. Vast is operated by Coury Hospitality and earlier this year tapped Jonas Favela as executive chef, a move expected to shape the menus for both Vast and Nova Lounge. Vast and Nova Lounge are located at 333 W. Sheridan Ave., high in the Devon Tower. Vast's FAQs flag reservations as a smart move and note that valet parking is available at the property, according to the Vast FAQ. For now, Nova evenings appear to be bookable through Vast's reservation system and OpenTable, which lists current options for securing a spot, per OpenTable, so planning ahead is probably wise on weekend nights.
