The DeKalb County School District said school administrators and the district’s Division of Public Safety are also actively investigating, and that the student’s parent or guardian was notified, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. The district added that "appropriate disciplinary action will be taken" and urged families to talk with students about resolving conflicts in healthier ways.
