Lottery officials say the ticket was purchased at the Shell station at 776 N. Mathilda Ave. in Sunnyvale. The California State Lottery confirmed the match‑five result and payout in a statement, according to The Sacramento Bee.
One Number Shy of the Big One
Monday's official winning numbers were 17, 32, 48, 60 and 64, with a Powerball of 10 and a Power Play multiplier of 2x, according to Powerball. The Sunnyvale ticket matched all five white balls but missed the red Powerball, which drops the win into the match‑five prize tier instead of the jackpot.
