The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is asking San Antonio residents to help track down a white van and a person investigators say may be tied to an ongoing homicide case. Deputies have released photos of both the vehicle and the unidentified subject, along with the van's license plate number: TXR4158. Anyone with information is urged to call the sheriff's tip line at 210-335-6000.
What the sheriff released
According to KENS5, investigators are looking for a white Ford E-250 that they say is "allegedly connected" to the homicide, along with the person shown in the released images. The photos, credited to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, focus on the van that carries Texas license plate TXR4158. The KENS5 report, last updated May 14, notes that officials have not shared any additional details about victims or arrests.
How to pass tips
The sheriff's non-emergency dispatch and tip line is listed as 210-335-6000 on the office's official pages, and investigators are directing anyone with information about the van or subject to call that number. Per the Bexar County website, callers can reach non-emergency dispatch and the sheriff's media office through contact numbers posted online. If you have dash-cam or home-surveillance footage that might have captured the van, officials advise noting the approximate time and location before you call so detectives can more easily follow up.
Investigation status
Outside of the vehicle description, license plate, and released images, investigators have not said where or when the van was last spotted or identified the person shown. Detectives are treating the case as an active homicide investigation and are urging the public to come forward with any possible leads. As KENS5 reported, the sheriff's office plans to release more information as it becomes available.
