
Gunfire on Arsenal Street early Monday left a man in his 20s dead, adding another homicide to a stretch of south St. Louis that has seen a string of recent shootings.
According to KSDK, officers were called to the area just before 1 a.m. for reports of shots fired and found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Police said he was in his 20s and declined to release his name.
Police Investigation
The St. Louis Police Department homicide division is leading the investigation. Detectives have not released information about any suspects or a possible motive as they continue to gather evidence and interview potential witnesses.
