Dirty Dough has quietly slipped out of Bee Cave, and with it, out of the entire Austin area. The cookie chain's Bee Cave shop has closed, leaving no operating Dirty Dough storefronts anywhere around Austin, a change that now shows up across delivery apps and mapping services.
According to Community Impact, the Bee Cave location closed in April, and the company’s website no longer lists any Austin-area stores at all. That outlet notes the shop was serving the brand’s signature stuffed cookies in flavors like peanut butter and cookies n' creme before the shutdown.
The Bee Cave storefront’s Uber Eats listing now labels the unit "Closed on Uber Eats" and records that status as of Feb. 23, 2026. The page still shows sample menu items and boxed assortments, but the shop is unavailable for orders.
Apple Maps backs that up, marking the Bee Cave outlet as "Permanently Closed." The entry also links to Dirty Dough’s main website and includes a local phone number for the shuttered shop.
What the Shop Was Dishing Out
Before the lights went out, the Bee Cave counter focused on hefty, overstuffed cookies, grab-and-go boxes, and a few extras like shakes. The archived Uber Eats menu highlights options such as PB Overload and Cookies n' Creme, plus half-dozen and Dirty Dozen box sets.
Texas Pullback Continues
The Bee Cave closure is not an isolated move. It follows a run of pullbacks for the brand in Texas. Earlier in 2026, Community Impact reported that a Dirty Dough location in Allen also closed. Meanwhile, coverage of the chain’s shifting footprint and plans has tracked how the company is recalibrating in other Texas markets.
For now, former Bee Cave regulars and other Austin-area customers will have to turn to different dessert spots or delivery services. The company has not posted an official statement about the Bee Cave shutdown, and there are no Austin-area counters listed on its site. This story will be updated if Dirty Dough issues a public comment or brings any local locations back online.
