A welfare check at a Bensalem Knights Inn ended with the arrest of a 30-year-old New York man after police say they found a 15-year-old girl who had been sexually assaulted inside one of the rooms. Officers identified the suspect as Jurabek Musinov, who was taken into custody and later arraigned in Bucks County court on multiple sex-related charges, with bail set at $15,000.
On Sunday morning, officers went to the Knights Inn at 2707 Lincoln Highway to perform a welfare check. Police say they first spotted the vehicle believed to have been used to transport the teen, then located the girl and Musinov together inside a motel room. According to investigators, the girl had met the man the night before at a Philadelphia Walmart, where the two exchanged Instagram usernames. She was allegedly picked up around 1 a.m., taken to the motel room and assaulted.
Musinov faces charges that include first-degree statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, second-degree aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and third-degree corruption of minors. He was arraigned with bail set at $15,000, and authorities say an ICE detainer was lodged while he was at the Bucks County Correctional Facility, according to NBC10 Philadelphia.
Federal court filing shows prior immigration proceedings
Federal court records indicate that a person named Jurabek Musinov filed a habeas corpus petition in the Eastern District of New York on Feb. 4, 2026, and that the case was completed on April 30, 2026. The filing is part of the federal record and is publicly available online, according to Habeas Dockets.
Local pattern of motel-linked cases
The arrest comes amid other recent, high-profile child sex cases in the Bensalem area. In a separate investigation in May, a defendant was hit with one of the county’s largest bail amounts, highlighting how cases involving minors and motel rooms along Route 1 have grabbed local attention. That earlier incident came with a $10 million bail.
