
Midday gunfire shattered a quiet stretch of Lenox Road in East Flatbush on Friday, leaving one man fighting for his life and neighbors staring at a block suddenly ringed with flashing lights.
Emergency crews were called to 261 Lenox Road just before 3:30 p.m. The victim was rushed from the scene to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
