Where the Closure Is and Traffic Impact
The intersection sits in west Fort Worth near residential neighborhoods and connects drivers to Loop 820 and nearby arterials. As a rollover on Loop 820 near White Settlement Road earlier this spring showed, collisions in this corridor can quickly ripple through the west-side drive.
Investigation and Next Steps
Officials have not yet released the identity of the person who died or any details about how the crash happened. In previous major collisions the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office has noted that the Tarrant County Medical Examiner determines the cause of death and releases victims’ names once families are notified.
Motorists heading through west Fort Worth should expect delays and look for alternate routes while the scene remains active. This story will be updated when authorities release additional information.
