A DoorDash driver was left rattled after someone opened fire during a road-rage encounter on New Prue Road near the entrance to the town of Osage in Osage County. The delivery worker was not hit by the bullet but suffered minor injuries from shattered glass when a round came through the vehicle’s rear window.
Investigators say the driver was heading westbound on New Prue Road after completing a delivery when an altercation started with another driver. Deputies identified the victim as a DoorDash driver and said the suspect was a white man behind the wheel of a newer-model Jeep Gladiator with an Oklahoma plate. As reported by Fox23, deputies said the victim was returning from a drop-off when things escalated.
Investigators Seek Witnesses
According to the Osage County Sheriff's Office, the suspect fired a single round through the rear window and then took off from the scene. The sheriff’s office has warned the public, “Do not approach or confront the suspect,” and investigators are asking anyone with phone or dash-cam footage from the area to hang on to it for potential evidence.

Deputies described the suspect’s ride as a newer-model Jeep Gladiator with an Oklahoma license plate and a handicap placard hanging from the rearview mirror.
