Keller just picked up a new spot to cheer, groan, and argue over replay calls. Eagle Tavern, a sports bar on Keller Parkway, opened last Monday and is already drawing locals with wall-to-wall TVs, pool tables, and a menu built for sharing. The space is aiming to be a neighborhood hangout for everything from weekday lunches to late-night games and post-work drinks, with early menus leaning on smash burgers, flatbreads, wings, and other shareable plates.
According to Eagle Tavern, the restaurant staged a soft opening on June 8 and lists its location as 721 Keller Parkway, Suite 100. The site posts a downloadable menu PDF and a hiring notice that signals the team is still staffing up. The homepage also notes "Takeout coming soon" as the operation settles into full service.
What to order
The menu posted on Slice runs through burgers, flatbreads, salads, shrimp, and wings, and highlights a mix of shareable starters like soft pretzel bites and fried pickles. The Eagle Burger in particular is billed as a double smashed patty topped with provolone and American cheese, sliced onions, and spicy mustard, and it is positioned as the house signature.
Games, hours and deals
The bar area is built around televisions and pool tables, and Community Impact reported the business will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. That outlet also notes the tavern has been advertising weekday lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on its Facebook page and has been showing FIFA World Cup matches during the tournament. Community Impact adds that the Keller spot is a sister restaurant to The Goat Tavern in Roanoke and occupies the suite formerly home to Baja Cantina.
Local roots and next steps
The Eagle Tavern’s operators have ties to Roanoke’s The Goat Tavern, which lists a Roanoke address and menu on its own site at The Goat Tavern. The Keller location moved into a suite previously occupied by Baja Cantina, a restaurant that directories list at 721 Keller Parkway; that former tenant appears in local listings such as YellowPages, giving the new bar a ready-made sports-bar footprint in the strip center.
For now, the tavern is in a soft-open phase, and menus and hours may shift as the team settles in. Patrons can check Eagle Tavern or call ahead for the latest on hours, events, and takeout availability.
