Framingham drivers can now fuel up their cars and their caffeine habit in the same pit stop. Alltown Fresh has opened at 696 Cochituate Road, turning a former service station into a 24/7 kitchen and marketplace that is deliberately styled more like a café than a grab-and-go minimart, complete with gas, avocado toast and bean-to-cup cappuccinos under one roof.
In a press release, Alltown Fresh said the Framingham spot is the brand’s 17th location overall and its seventh in Massachusetts. The company said the site includes a made-to-order kitchen, a curated marketplace of local goods, indoor and outdoor seating, and both high-speed diesel and EV fueling. The same release noted that the location will partner with the Framingham Boys & Girls Club on food donations.
Built Around Food, Fuel And Chargers
The 5,000-square-foot redevelopment was not a quick facelift. According to the construction firm, the project required full demolition of the old station, extensive utility coordination, and the installation of four DC fast-charging stations alongside high-speed diesel fueling. Menu Reads Like A Café
If the pumps say “gas station,” the menu is doing its best to argue otherwise. The Boston Globe reported that the counter is serving made-to-order za'atar avocado toast stacked with tomato and arugula, quinoa bowls, barbecued pulled pork on brioche, and a self-serve cappuccino station that helps pull in the lunch rush. The Globe also quoted Jac Moskalik, Alltown’s vice president of innovation and strategy, as saying that “people on the go don’t have to compromise.”
The store is open 24/7, while the on-site kitchen runs weekday mornings through early evening with slightly shorter hours on weekends.
