Utah-born soda shop FiiZ is rolling into Yukon this Friday with a grand-opening move that is hard to ignore: free drinks on day one. The specialty "dirty soda" chain is setting up on Mustang Road, plugging directly into the busy west-OKC retail corridor and giving locals one more reason to queue up along the strip. Openings for the brand tend to pull serious crowds, so do not be surprised if the line wraps the parking lot.
Where And When To Grab A Free Drink
The new FiiZ outpost is moving into 2801 S. Mustang Road, Suite 102 in Yukon and is slated to open this Friday. To celebrate, the store plans to hand out free drinks as part of its grand opening, as reported by The Oklahoman.
What FiiZ Is And Where It Started
According to the company, FiiZ got its start in Bountiful, Utah as a soda-shop concept that reimagines the classic 1950s fountain as a fully customizable drink counter. FiiZ Drinks says customers can mix and match their way through thousands of drink combinations. Industry coverage notes the brand has been scaling fast, and SynergySuite has reported that FiiZ now operates dozens of locations with aggressive national expansion plans.
Local Expansion And The Operator
On the Oklahoma front, Edmond-based entrepreneur Daniel Dickman is steering the FiiZ rollout. He told reporters he is targeting roughly 15 locations across the state, according to The Oklahoman. The Yukon shop appears to be the first in that expansion plan, giving the brand an early foothold in the west-side suburbs of Oklahoma City.
What To Expect On The Menu
Menus from existing FiiZ locations feature soda- and lemonade-based drinks that can be customized with syrups, purees, cream and fresh fruit, alongside freezes, hot drinks and a lineup of snacks. Listings from other stores, such as those shared by MenuWeb, highlight how wide that range can get. The chain has also leaned on free-drink promotions to mark milestone openings in the past, according to PR Newswire.
